Welcome to Gaana Nritya Academy

GaanaNritya Academy, the centre of propagating Indian arts is creating awareness of Indian music and dance since 1994. As it is touching its silver jubilee, the institution has touched the lives and young minds of hundreds of children and has helped in moulding their dreams and aspirations with a living tradition of music and dance. GNA spread its arms of spreading art even to rural towns to promote the talented kids and help in bringing them to the mainstream, facing their counterparts in the cities.

GaanaNritya Academy was founded by the director, Guru Vidyashree Radhakrishna. Under her able guidance, the academy steadily grew and flourished across the coastal Karnataka, various other cities in India and abroad. With an intention to reach wider audience and spread the love for art, Guru Vidyashree has conceptualised and staged various thematic presentations appealing to the common people as well as appreciated by the scholars and art critics.

GNA has been imparting art lessons, primarily classical music and dance to multitude of seekers. Numerous students appear for the grade exams conducted by the Karnataka state board every year and qualify with flying colours. The Academy has many performers, teachers, doordarshan graded artistes, scholarship receivers, award winners to its credit, under the tutelage of Guru Vidyashree Radhakrishna.
